Black Wasp is just like the common Wasp and look bigger by its shape and structure.The black Wasp happens to be equipped like other hornet or wasp with a string to inject venom to its enemy whenever felt annoyed by some stranger. Black Wasp are found flying with vibrating humming in and around our garden and house. But it has been established as the truth that do not cause any harm to common people as they can be caught even with our hand, but any one before proceeding to take this black Wasp should ensure first that it is a black Wasp.
The black Wasp recognized as Katydid Killer or Sphenx Pennsylvanica has been seen never getting easily aggressive and not causing no any trouble to some one coming too close to it like other Wasp. Where other Wasps like hornet or paper Wasp, the black Wasp despite looking awfully bigger in black-color shape happens to be too calm and cool.
The black Wasp feed only on the nectar, sap and insects. They can be identified even while flying as they keep their legs trailed in comparison with other Wasps or hornets who tuck their legs with their bodies while flying. It has been found that there has not been found so far any other Wasp as bigger as the black Wasp.
